Summer Reading Review: The Memory Book, by Penelope J. Stokes

A quick read, the story centers around a young woman who recently received her master's degree and a marriage proposal. However, she is having a difficult time committing to her fiancee. When she travels to her hometown to visit the sick grandmother who raised her after her mother was brutally murdered, she discovers truths about some family secrets--and ultimately, herself. She discovers a Memory Book that her great aunt kept 75 years ago and, in a dream, is transported in time to the earlier 20th century.

The story was predictable but interesting.
